About Roll It INN

Lending a Helping Hand

Roll It Inn started in 2016 as a student led volunteer program under the supervision and guidance of the INN's senior staff. Roll It INN finds volunteers to wrap plastic utensils in napkins for use by the guests of the INN. The utensils and napkins are delivered to volunteer groups who gather at supervised sessions at their schools, churches or any other organization. The prepared sets of utensils are then delivered to the INN. This eliminates travel time for volunteers to and from the INN. Student volunteers may also earn volunteer credits required at their high schools. Providing a set of utensils to each guest contributes to three important goals of the INN:

- Provides a sanitary environment for serving meals to guests.

- Creates a respectful and dignified environment for each guest.

- Increases student volunteer participation during the school year and earn volunteer credits at school.
